Selling defective services
Recently had a very bad experience wit Glow Aesthetics at Craig Rd in Tanjong Pagar. The groupon deal they have sold is a scam. The IPL machine that they use is not the usual IPL machine they use for e-light IPL. It is a multiple pulse Clariancy HPL(Home Pulsed Light) machine. 5-6 shots consecutively for 1 spot. This can only mean the light energy is so low powered. They kept trying to upsell the real IPL treatment for $148 per session and in addition to that they offered that I should top up on top of my voucher to get the better and more effective IPL treatment. The reason why I am complaining about this salon is because the vendor is knowingly selling defective services that do not deliver what was promised.
Not only was the IPL treatment painful, it was unlike any other IPL treatment I have received before. The treatment left me with very itchy skin since yesterday till now and there are burn marks on my legs. I will not continue with the treatment even if there is no refund.
